Return Policy

 

Receiving

        Customer Responsibilities

IMPORTANT: Before signing the Receipt of Delivery or the Bill of Lading from the freight carrier, the customer or the person receiving the freight shipment on their behalf, must fully inspect the shipment. Melloicemachine will not be held responsible for orders that are not fully inspected and have been signed for as “received in acceptable condition”.

Therefore, the customer is required to have someone present to meet the freight carrier and fully inspect the items of the shipment for errors or damages. As the recipient, the customer may take the time required to uncrate or remove packaging to inspect the product while the freight carrier is still present. If you wait to unpack and inspect your shipment until after you have signed for the shipment and the driver has left, you will be responsible for any and all damages whether in plain sight or concealed.

Unpack all items and carefully inspect for damages. Check equipment exteriors for dents, dings or punctures. Check external piping, tubing, etc. for possible cracks, cuts, or other damage.

Inform the freight driver of any damages found before they leave. This must be noted on the Receipt of Delivery or Bill of Lading. Please contact Melloicemachine immediately at 0086-21-60525218 to let us know about the damages. Have your order number available so that we can better assist you. All damages must be reported to Melloicemachine within 2 business days of receipt of your shipment.

If you as the customer, or your representative receiving the shipment, signs the Receipt of Delivery or Bill of Lading without noting any damages or other errors, you are stating that you have received your order in acceptable condition. Once signed for, there is no reimbursement of purchase or shipping costs due to item(s) being damaged. You will not be able to file a freight claim with the freight carrier company. Upon signing that the shipment has arrived in acceptable condition, the item(s) belong to you.

        Damages

If any item(s) are damaged, note the damage on the delivery receipt or bill of lading while the freight driver is still there. Be specific when noting damage. Include damage on the outside of the packaging as well as damage on the actual item(s). Take photos of any damage that has occurred as you will need to submit a claim to the freight carrier company and they will likely conduct an inspection. Do not throw away any packaging materials, damaged or not.

Please contact Melloicemachine as well at 0086-21-60525218. If damage is only “cosmetic” or only minor repairs are necessary, we may be able to assist with ordering replacement parts if possible. If damage is significant and the entire item needs replacing, you can submit a new order with us while you wait for your freight claim to be resolved. Have your order number available so that we may assist you if we can.

        Concealed Damage

If an item is damaged, but its outside packaging is not damaged, this is considered concealed damage. If the freight driver has already left, the freight carrier will have no evidence that the item was damaged while in transit with them. In this case, you must keep all of the original packaging and request an inspection from the freight carrier company. Concealed damage must be reported to the freight carrier immediately upon discovery and will also require a written statement to the freight carrier.

Please contact Melloicemachine as well at 0086-21-60525218, so that we may assist if we can. If the item is non-functional due to damage in transit and needs replacing, you can submit a new order with us while you wait for your freight claim to be resolved.

        Shortages

The customer is responsible for inspecting all packages to confirm that the correct number of items have arrived as ordered. If there are any shortages, please inform the freight driver before they leave so they can note it.

Please contact us immediately (0086-21-60525218) to let us know about items missing from the shipment.Have your order number available so that we can better assist you. All shortages must be reported to Melloicemachine within 2 business days of receipt of your shipment.

        Incorrect Items Shipped

The customer is responsible for inspecting the shipment to confirm that the correct items have arrived as ordered. In the unlikely event of an item being shipped to you that was not included in your order, you may refuse delivery at no cost to you. Please inform the freight driver that you are refusing delivery and the reason why.

Please contact us immediately (0086-21-60525218) to let us know that the incorrect item(s) were shipped. Have your order number available so that we can better assist you and promptly arrange for the correct item(s) to be shipped.

Incorrectly shipped items will need to be repackaged in original packing materials.

        Refused Shipments

The customer has a right to refuse shipment of item(s) damaged in transit or incorrectly shipped due to an error made by Melloicemachine at no cost to the customer (Re-stocking fee does NOT apply).

However, for all other refused shipments, the customer will be responsible for full freight charges and fees for both ways and there will be a minimum of 25 percent re-stocking fee for the items refused.

        Re-Delivery

If the freight carrier attempts to deliver your shipment and is unable to complete delivery for reasons that are within the customer’s control, redelivery fees will apply. New fees will apply if there is a change in delivery address or re-consignment after a shipment is in transit.

 

Cancelled Orders

        Prior to Shipping

If the customer chooses to cancel any part of the order before it has been shipped, the customer will be reimbursed for the purchase cost of the ordered items being cancelled. The customer will be responsible for paying, at minimum, a 25 percent re-stocking fee.

        In Transit

If the customer chooses to cancel any part of the order after it has been shipped, cancellation of order will not be accepted by the seller.

        Custom & Special Order Cancellations

If the customer has placed a custom or special order with Melloicemachine (for example, an ice bin top that is custom cut to fit a specific ice maker), the order may be cancelled only BEFORE it enters the production process at the manufacturer. Once the custom order has begun production, the customer will be responsible for the purchase and shipping costs. There will be no reimbursements for these costs and no credits or exchanges will be allowed.

 

Returns

        Refused Shipments

The customer has a right to refuse shipment of item(s) damaged in transit or incorrectly shipped due to an error made by Melloicemachine at no cost to the customer (Re-stocking fee does NOT apply).

However, for all other refused shipments, the customer will be responsible for full freight charges and fees for both ways and there will be a minimum of 25 percent re-stocking fee for the items refused.

        Returns

No returns will be accepted without written authorization from Melloicemachine. Requests for a return must be made within three (3) days of receipt of your order. Please contact Melloicemachine at 0086-21-60525218.

If a return is authorized by Melloicemachine, the customer is subject to paying return freight and a minimum of 25 percent restocking fee on the item(s) being returned. Original delivery freight paid (if any) is not refundable.

All returns must be properly packed and shipped freight pre-paid back to an address provided by Melloicemachine.Returned item(s) must be in new, unused condition, and must be in original packaging or crates. All returns will be inspected for damage or usage prior to issuance of credit or refund.

You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of purchase costs. Melloicemachine will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (for example, if you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

We will NOT accept returns for any used items.

No credits or refunds will be processed until we have confirmation that the item has been received by us and is in unused and in new, sellable condition. You should expect to receive your refund within 30 days of handing your item(s) to the return shipper. In many cases you will receive the refund more quickly. The time includes transit time back to us, time to process the return (including inspection), and the time it takes your bank to process the reimbursement.

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund status once we’ve received and processed the returned item(s).

Special order and custom order items cannot be returned.

        Unauthorized Returns

If the customer returns any items without written authorization from Melloicemachine, the items will be returned to the customer. Shipping and freight charges may be passed on to the customer. No credit or refund will be issued on any items returned without prior authorization.
